A bit stricter animal control resolution, sponsored by County Commissioner Anita Epperson, was discussed last Tuesday during the monthly Rules and Legislative Committee meeting.
After hearing Animal Control Director Josie Lowery talk about what kind of hardships such a resolution, if approved, would cause her department, Epperson said this has nothing to do with the competency of the animal control but was a way thought to help with the regulation of the many dogs and cats-most not having been spayed or neutered- scattered throughout the County.
