WARWICK — A Warwick woman was arrested Wednesday morning on multiple fraud-related charges following a joint investigation by the Rhode Island State Police and the Warwick Police Department.
On July 16, 2025, at approximately 10:01 a.m., troopers arrested 43-year-old Adesola Oremosu of 70 Sophia Drive, Warwick, on an affidavit and arrest warrant stemming from several financial and public assistance fraud allegations.
Oremosu faces the following charges:
- Obtaining money under false pretenses over $10,000
- Fraudulently obtaining public assistance checks over $500
- Fraudulent use of food stamps over $500
- Giving a false document to a public official
