On July 16, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an Attempted Robbery with a firearm at Simona’s Restaurant in Danieltown. Patrol and Investigations responded and developed Meshach Elder to be the suspect.
During the investigation, it was determined that Elder brandished a firearm at Dots Country Store in Danieltown prior to attempting the robbery at Simonas.
