Family members of two victims killed in a 2023 El Paso bar mass shooting took the stand to address the man who pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison for the murders.
“Our lives changed forever,” said James Nicholson, whose son James Nicholson Jr. was killed in the mass shooting, “In a split second, you ended the lives of two amazing, beautiful people … You left a father without his namesake, a mother without her baby boy, his siblings without their brother, and an untold number of people without their friend.”
