Police name victim seriously injured in Central Lubbock motorcycle crash

LUBBOCK, Texas — A Central Lubbock crash early Friday left 57-year-old Kenneth Duonola hospitalized with serious injuries, the Lubbock Police Department said in a press release.

Lubbock Police were called to the 800 block of Avenue Q at 12:10 a.m., the press release said. When officers got there, Duonola was found seriously injured.

Early investigation found that Duonola was driving north on a motorcycle in the 900 block of Avenue Q, behind a pick-up truck. A press release said Duonola “failed to control” the motorcycle’s speed and rear-ended the truck.

Duonola was taken to University Medical Center by ambulance, but LPD said no one in the pick-up was hurt…
