“I turned the corner to mow my yard… and my trailer is gone.”
For retired Navy veteran Jim Atkins, Monday afternoon started like any other — until he noticed something was missing.
“I turned the corner to mow my yard, and I’m like, my trailer is gone,” Atkins said.
The 16-foot flatbed trailer had been parked under a tarp and loaded with wood for a deck project. After checking his security footage, Atkins discovered it was stolen the day before — Sunday — at exactly 3:55 p.m.
Caught on Camera: Suspect Walks Up, Then Drives Off
Surveillance video shows a woman casually walking up to Atkins’ front porch, pretending to knock, then returning to a truck. Moments later, the truck pulls around, hooks up to the trailer, and drives off.
