The intersection at Chambers Street and West 11th Avenue will close to traffic for a week starting today, for repaving. Traffic on West 11th Avenue will be reduced to one lane during this period.
The city’s West 11th Avenue paving and accessibility improvement project is repaving about 1-1/4 mile of West 11th, from Grant Street to Charnelton Street. The project also is reconstructing sidewalk access ramps.
Construction began in late 2024 and is set to last through this summer…
