BPD requests public’s help to identify man who allegedly hammered down home garage door

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department asked for the public’s help in identifying a man who is accused of striking the victim’s home garage door with a hammer in January.

The incident occurred Jan. 26 at around 1:50 a.m., in the 3000 block of Apollo Street, according to police.

Officials said the suspect went to the victim’s home and struck their garage door with a hammer several times, making the door inoperable.

Police described the suspect as a man with a medium build. He was wearing a black beanie hat, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and black and white Nike shoes…
