BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Gobike’s annual SkyRide is this weekend, encouraging participants to strap on their helmets and take to the sky. The Skyway, that is.
The event will also include I-190 for the first time.
Roads will be closed from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. and 6 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Sunday. See the closures from the New York State Department of Transportation below.
- the interstate 190 northbound on-ramps at Church Street and Oak Street (6 a.m. to 10 a.m.)
- interstate 190 northbound between Exit 6 and Exit 9 (6 a.m. to 10 a.m.)
- the Skyway between Church Street and Ridge Road (6 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
- the Interstate 190 southbound exit ramp to the Skyway (6 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
Motorists are asked to follow posted detour routes and speed limits.
