CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after he was convicted of “brutally beating” his girlfriend in 2022, according to the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
The incident happened on April 3, 2022, when Efrain Hernandez-Montero and his girlfriend went to a pub on Maybank Highway for brunch. After hours of drinking, an argument ensued over suspicions of infidelity, which led to Hernandez-Montero crushing a glass in his hand.
