SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A case status report shared by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is shedding some light on the state’s investigation into former Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright.
SLED was looking into possible misconduct in office involving Wright.
The report said in September 2024, state law enforcement was made aware of Wright allegedly using a county credit card to pay for personal expenses.
