One person is dead and another under arrest after an incident this week in Joanna, according to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to North Marion Street in Joanna on Monday, July 14 at approximately 12:45pm in reference to an assault that had already occurred. When deputies arrived, the victim was located and later airlifted to an area hospital.
