GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — The Guilford County Division of Public Health is launching a series of mobile clinics this July to help families prepare for the upcoming school year with vaccinations and health screenings.
The free community clinics are open to all county residents and will offer a variety of services, including back-to-school vaccinations for rising seventh and twelfth graders, as well as MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), COVID-19, and mpox vaccines. A1C testing and blood pressure checks will also be available.
Under North Carolina law, all students entering seventh grade must receive both the Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) and MCV (Meningococcal Conjugate vaccines). Twelfth graders are required to have a second dose of the MCV vaccine before starting their senior year…
