Franklin Primary Health Center hosts Annual Back to School Bash and Community Health Fair

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG)—Families in Mobile got a jump start on getting back-to-school supplies today at the Annual Back to School Bash and Community Health Fair.

New details about an Escambia County Public Schools principal’s arrest

Thousands showed up this morning, and many of the kids News 5 talked to said the event has them looking forward to the new school year.

The free event offered haircuts, health screenings, immunizations, school supplies and activities for families. Organizers said it was a big success.

“We put a lot of work into actually making that happen,” Kathy Perry, Outreach Department Head of the Franklin Primary Health Center, said. “And so we are just excited that the community took part of and it chose to come out and share this day with us. So we have a lot of the kids is going to get a little backpack when they leave. And like you said we got face painting for them. And so everybody’s excited.”…
