Former federal mediator to address Mobile youth and community about conflict resolution

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Mobile city leaders are joining forces with a former federal mediator to address conflict resolution and crime prevention in the community.

Dr. Hezekiah Brown is in town this week to spread a message of hope. Brown spoke at Government Plaza on Thursday along with Councilman Corey Penn and Presiding Juvenile Court Judge Edmond Naman.

Brown says the key to addressing the problems in the community is to start speaking to youths at a young age. He says he wants to teach people how to apologize to others, be compassionate, and forgive others…
