TOLEDO, Ohio — From now until Aug. 11, you can possibly take home a vehicle from the Toledo Police Department’s impound lot.
More than 100 abandoned and forfeited vehicles, including cars, trucks and motorcycles, are up for auction. These vehicles are part of the TPD’s second abandoned and forfeited motor vehicle auction of the year. Although the auction is exclusively online, people have the chance to preview the vehicles from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at the police impound lot.
The auction features a wide range of vehicles ranging in model and year. The newest vehicles on the list are a blue Chevrolet Equinox and a black Chevrolet Traverse, both from 2018, and the oldest is a gray Chevrolet C60 truck from 1976. Most vehicles have a salvage title…
