A popular grocery store chain could be expanding its Central Texas footprint yet again as it eyes a possible location in a booming Austin suburb.
Arizona-founded organic groceries and specialty products chain Sprouts Farmers Market has nearly 60 locations open or near completion in Texas, with seven locations in and around the Austin area. Additional expansion plans have already been revealed in several Central Texas suburbs, including stores in development in Bastrop and Leander.
Now, the chain is considering a storefront in the Austin suburb of Hutto, according to a presentation to the Hutto Economic Development Corp. on Monday, July 14.
