Dallas police arrest suspect in armed robbery at convenience store

DALLAS, Texas — A 26-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly robbing a convenience store at knifepoint, according to Dallas police. Officers responded swiftly to the scene on Walnut Hill Lane, ensuring the safety of all involved.

The suspect, identified as Jose Arias Cruz, was taken into custody by Northeast officers who were flagged down by a store clerk around 3 a.m. The clerk reported the robbery and indicated that the suspect was still inside the store.
