A nondescript white building on the corner of a fairly busy intersection is home to some of the best steaks in Minnesota. The funny thing is, you might miss it if you aren’t looking for it. Have you ever sampled a steam from Lindey’s?
It sits in a residential area, so you could miss it
I grew up about 15 minutes from Lindey’s Prime Steak House, which is located in Arden Hills, MN. Growing up, I always thought the white building nestled into a hillside, just steps from Lake Johanna, was a house with w big driveway. It wasn’t until I was older that I figured out that the ‘white house’ was really a business, and a pretty successful one at that.
On the weekend (Friday & Saturday), the parking lot was always full, and you’d see satisfied people walking out, smiling ear to ear, and sometimes carrying what they couldn’t finish in a take-out container.
65 Years Of Being ‘The Place For Steak’
The steak house has been serving up steak the way you want it for the last 65 years. Lindey’s Prime Steak House is open Monday-Saturday from 11am to 10pm, and is closed on Sundays and major holidays.
You’re not going to find much other than steak on their menu, as they don’t mess around, with a simple lunch and dinner menu. Come prepared for beef, salad, hash browned potatoes, and garlic bread…
