Car partially plunges into sinkhole, prompting Baltimore police to shut down intersection

Police shut down an intersection in Baltimore’s Belair-Edison neighborhood after a car partially plunged into a sinkhole on Thursday.

Officers assisted firefighters in securing the area after they learned that a car had partly slid into a large sinkhole at the intersection of Chesterfield Avenue and Brehms Lane a little after 10 p.m.
