New data on housing, health and more in the City of Madison are now available as part of the latest update to the Neighborhood Indicators Project (NIP).
The NIP is a partnership between the City of Madison and the UW-Madison Applied Population Lab. The project aims to track dozens of quality of life metrics over time to provide a better understanding of trends across Madison. The data is provided for free online for everyone to access and has been a useful tool for community-based organizations, non-profits and other public and private entities to identify areas of need and opportunities for support.
