Wilmington, Del. — A document filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on July 15 indicates that Top 50 retailer At Home is removing two stores from its store closings list.
After the Coppell, Texas-based home décor specialist filed for Chapter 11 protection last month, it outlined plans to close 26 of its 260 stores during the bankruptcy proceedings. In the interim order detailing closing procedures, it had the right to discontinue sales at any closing stores and revert to normal operations without further authorization from the court, provided that it shall file a notice with the court of any such change to the list of closing stores.
