ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Summertime is in full swing in New Mexico so this weekend is chockful of events. Here is what is happening July 18-20.
City of Albuquerque End-of-Summer Teen Pool Party
The City of Albuquerque is expecting more than 200 teens to attend a night of swimming, music, games and food to celebrate the end of summer. The end-of-summer teen pool party is the final night in the City’s “Friday Teen Nights” series. The series has featured an arts and crafts night, roller skating and mini-golf.
The end-of-summer teen pool party is free and open to all teens from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Rio Grande Pool in Albuquerque.
Albuquerque Isotopes’ “Guns and Hoses” with first responders
The Albuquerque Isotopes is hosting First Responders Night on Friday. The first responders will play softball before the Isotopes game to benefit Special Olympics New Mexico . The event is called “Guns and Hoses” because it combines law enforcement and firefighters.
Gates open at 5 p.m. Friday. You can get tickets on the Isotopes website.
Sober Summer Fest
