ALBANY — After a stabbing incident early Saturday morning, a 38-year-old Albany female has been charged, according to a news release from Albany police.
Officers responded around 4:55 a.m. to Lexington Avenue near First Street for reports of a stabbing, where they found evidence consistent with a stabbing but were unable to locate a victim.
A short time later, officers responded to Albany Memorial Hospital for reports of a walk-in stabbing victim. At the hospital, they located a 36-year-old female with significant stab wounds to her neck and back area.
