DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — An emergency shelter for women and families is seeing such a demand for its services that it’s exceeded its capacity.
St. Vincent DePaulhas been the primary provider of its emergency shelter on Apple Street in Dayton for 40 years. It serves single women and families, but Executive Director Michael Vanderburgh says right now the problem is there’s an imbalance.
