Local collective hosting block party, using community conversation to advocate for jail and criminal justice reform

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A local collective is using community conversation to advocate for jail and criminal justice reform this weekend.

From 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Beyond the Bars is hosting ‘Stories of Fatherhood & Incarceration’.

The free, community block party being held at the Dream Center FW on 1615 East Wallace Street features a panel discussion with formerly incarcerated individuals and the loved ones of incarcerated individuals, who are ‘being impacted by the system and the lack of current jail reform’…
