MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for a man who stole a car left running with a child inside on Thursday at a Southeast Memphis gas station.
On July 17, at 10:50 p.m., officers responded to a kidnapping/motor vehicle theft call in the 4600 block of Winchester Road.
Officers were told that the victim left her vehicle running with her child inside while she went inside the store.
