A man from Venezuela was arrested for driving without a license for the second time this week when an officer recognized his vehicle.
An officer spotted a black Toyota in the area of West North Boulevard and Glen Ridge Drive around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The LPD had stopped the driver, 22-year-old Adrian Lopez Suarez of Leesburg, on Monday and learned he did not have a driver’s license.
He only had a Venezuelan ID card and was cited during that incident. He was released with a notice to appear for not having a valid license. A check of his information on Tuesday showed he still did not have a license, so he was stopped in a shopping center at 1326 W North Blvd, the report said.
A check into Lopez Suarez’s duration in the U.S. revealed he had lived here for two years. He was asked about his license in Venezuela, and he stated he did not have one. The officer offered to have the Venezuala consulate contacted, but he declined, the report said…
