NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — Four cannabis dispensaries in the Garden State just received the green light to open up consumption lounges, creating the first legal opportunity for consumers to use marijuana inside dispensaries.
“I think it’s going to be a good educational thing and it’s a good thing for the community, so people can come here, get together,” said Ramez Maxemous, the COO of URB’N Dispensary in Newark, one of the four dispensaries to receive approval.

The other approved dispensaries are Rollers Dispensary and SunnyTien Dispensary, both in Atlantic City, and Gynsyng in Merchantville. All four dispensaries are women- and minority-owned.
