Protective platform edge barriers have been installed at 56 subway stations across New York City, according to an announcement made by Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday.
The installation of these barriers by the MTA is part of Hochul’s 2025 State of the State direction to install such barriers at more than 100 subway stations before the end of 2025.
