Installation of a more robust bypass pipe for South Toledo’s collapsed sewer tunnel will shut down a block of Arlington Avenue to all traffic starting Monday, the Toledo Department of Transportation announced.
Arlington will be closed between National and Atlantic avenues for three weeks while the pipe is installed, and those cross streets may also be affected at times by the work, officials said.
Arlington was already closed for the two blocks between National and Wylie Avenue, and restricted to westbound traffic only between Wylie and Detroit Avenue for waterline construction that also affects Detroit’s northbound lanes at Arlington…
