JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – It was a close call last weekend for many tenants who live at Forest Park Apartments on Forest Avenue as they were left to duck and dodge from bullets flying through their walls.
“20 shots. 20 to 30 shots,” Janya Magee, a Forest Park Apartments tenant, said.
As some tenants recount how many bullets came flying through the place they call home, Gabrielle Lewis, another tenant, is grateful she was able get her son and other children to safety as the shooting spree unfolded…
