LINCOLN–(KFOR July 19)–Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) this week announced that portions of several streets will close beginning Sunday, July 20, and Monday, July 21. The closures are as follows:

- Eastbound Salt Creek Roadway between 14th Street and Stadium Drive will be closed from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday, July 20, for the Nebraska Football Road Race.
- Calvert Street between Ninth Street and Nebraska Parkway and Pioneers Boulevard between Ninth Street and Nebraska Parkway will close beginning Monday, July 21, for railroad track repairs. This work is expected to be completed by Friday, July 25. The recommended detour for Pioneers Boulevard is 14th Street to Old Cheney Road to U.S. Highway 77.
