Scorching heat continues across Arkansas this weekend, with heat index values climbing to 105–109° in parts of central, western, and eastern Arkansas. Heat Advisories are in effect, especially during the late afternoon and evening hours. Be sure to stay hydrated and limit outdoor activity if possible. An isolated shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out, thanks to lingering tropical moisture.
