UW Health expanded its artificial intelligence-powered notetaking program to 400 providers through the first half of the year, building on a pilot that began just over a year ago.
The technology aims to help medical visits by recording and transcribing conversations between a patient and their provider. The transcriptions are used to generate clinical notes, which are directly added to the patient’s electronic health records.
