ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Vietnam War veteran from Rockford is dedicated to making sure no soldier’s sacrifice is forgotten.
Nick Parnello was 20 years old when he enlisted in the U.S Army in 1967. In 1968, he left for the Vietnam War for two years. He says he enlisted because of his dad.
