GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A restaurant in Grand Rapids’ East Hills neighborhood known for its elevated dining cuisine — called “grove” — will be adding coney dogs to its menu.
On July 31, grove will host its second annual “grove goes glizzy” event, which — as the name suggests — features hotdog style creations in collaboration with Grand Rapids’ One Stop Coney.

“We are currently fully booked for the event,” Tristan Walczewski, chief operating officer at Essence Restaurant Group, said. “We have a notify list running, and we’ll be doing our best to accommodate walk-ins.”
The night’s exclusive menu will feature six or more recipes created by One Stop Coney owner Conor Malloy and his chef team. Potential recipes include specialty buffalo chicken dogs, chili macaroni dogs, bánh mi dogs, Korean corndogs and more.
“We’ve done a few high brow, low brow events,” Walczewski said. “Whether it be smash burgers and high-end burgundy or this One Stop Coney event themed around really fun, playful hotdogs and some cool beverages.”…
