On Saturday afternoon, July 19, deputies from Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to U.S. 131 for a two vehicle crash near mile marker 125.
The investigation revealed that a 54-year-old female from Comstock Park lost control of her vehicle due to poor weather conditions. The vehicle struck another motorist, who was also traveling southbound, before exiting the roadway.
