Man arrested in late night Shreveport shooting

SHREVEPORT, La. – A man is in custody following a late-night shooting in Shreveport that left one person injured, according to police.

Officers with the Shreveport Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 11:35 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Grimmett Drive.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. He was treated at the scene and then transported to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport by Shreveport Fire Department medics. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening…
