AFR put car fire out near East Side Animal Shelter

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR)put out a car fire right next to the Eastside Animal Shelter Saturday. AFR says they were dispatched to the area a little after noon.

Crews say they were not injured, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. AFR says they were able to control the fire within minutes and stayed afterward to show some of the shelter dogs some love…
