Portland Man Sentenced To Prison For Drug Dealing, Illegally Possessing Gun

PORTLAND, OR – A Portland man has been sentenced six years in federal prison for illegally possessing a firearm in while committing a drug trafficking crime.

Rocky Allan Rainwater, 25, was sentenced to July 17th, and his sentence also includes three years of supervised release.

According to court documents, in January of 2024, investigators with the FBI and Clackamas County Interagency Task Force learned that a man, later identified as Rainwater, used Telegram, an encrypted messaging service, to advertise the sale of various illegal narcotics including cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, MDMA, ketamine, LSD, Xanax, Adderall, and marijuana…
