TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A child is safe after being rescued from the base of Looking Glass Falls in the Pisgah National Forest.
According to the Transylvania County Rescue Squad’s (TCRS) Facebook page, a child swam to the far side of the falls, and within minutes, the river rose due to flash flooding from earlier rainfall.
