BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Getting older doesn’t mean you stop having fun which is why Tracey Williams, a personal trained and local health advocate, is bringing back a piece of the past with a Senior Prom this September.
After speaking with a group of seniors, Williams discovered that many had never attended their own prom. So, she decided to create a special event to give them that chance; an opportunity for fun, connection and memories that might have been missed years ago.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) emphasizes the importance of regular physical activity in older adults.
