OSP trooper saves ducklings left alone after mother killed

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A member of the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol made sure there weren’t ducks amuck on I-70.

Lt. Dallas Root took the time to gather several ducklings who had been orphaned when their mother met her end on I-70.

After putting them in a cardboard box for transport, he took them to Brukner Nature Center…
