Fresno Police Add Burglary Charge to Suspect in Jail for Attempted Murder After Recovering Priceless Historical Collectibles

July 20, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that Northwest detectives have been working on a residential burglary case

where priceless historical collectibles had been stolen, to include statutes and paintings, all for the purpose of selling them for financial gain. Investigators identified a suspect as Joshua White and served a search warrant in Fairmead, CA with the assistance of the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives were able to recover thousands of dollars’ worth of the victim’s stolen property. In addition, a storage unit in Fresno was located with additional stolen property. The property was returned to its rightful owner. The suspect, Joshua White, is currently booked into the Fresno County Jail for PC 664 and 187(a) – attempted murder.
