GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Four young local athletes are gearing up to head to Houston, Texas in the coming days to compete on a national scale.
Saraya Pearson, 13, Eris Young, 13, Samara Johnson, 14, Ja’Kyla Kelley-Brown, 14, all qualified for the Junior Olympic Games in the 4x100m relay.
