SPARTANBURG, S.C.(WSPA) – A national banking chain celebrated the grand opening of its newest location – and only branch in the Upstate – with a $10,000 donation to a nonprofit.
Huntington Bank, a full-service banking provider based in Ohio, opened it’s first branch in the Upstate on Friday. The new branch is located on East Main Street. It will serve customers with tellers, personal and private bankers and has an ATM.
According to a news release on the bank’s website, the Spartanburg branch is part of an expansion by Huntington Bank into North and South Carolina. Over the next three years Huntington Bank plans to add 55 branches and hire more than 350 people across both states…
