Darrion K. Finley faces life imprisonment if convicted on charges including attempted murder of an officer and firearms violations.
Darrion K. Finley, 21, of Pensacola, Florida, has been indicted in federal court on charges stemming from a late-2024 shooting incident during an attempted traffic stop of a reported stolen vehicle.
The charges were announced Friday by John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.
The indictment accuses Finley of three federal crimes: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Attempting to kill an Escambia County Sheriff’s Deputy to Prevent Certain Communications, and Discharging a Firearm During and in Relation to a Crime of Violence…
