PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Freebies and a giant motorized shopping cart helped celebrate Publix’s grand opening at its new 48,000+ sq. ft. Port St. Lucie store.
The new store is located at Riverland Town Center on the 12400 block of SW Community Blvd, and for many opening day shoppers– it was a long time coming.
“There’s a lot of people living out here so we need more stores,” said Port St. Lucie resident Lorene Mauri. “We absolutely needed more Publix’s so I’m just glad there’s another one to shop at.”…
