San Diego Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect in Mission Valley East Hit-and-Run

The San Diego Police Department is seeking public assistance after a serious hit-and-run incident that left a young man injured. According to a press release from the SDPD Watch Commander, Officer J. Perales, the collision occurred yesterday at 3:49 PM in the Mission Valley East neighborhood, along the 5000 block of Qualcomm Way.

The victim, a 24-year-old male pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle while walking westward on Qualcomm Way. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving the young man with a tibia-fibula compound fracture. The man was transported to a local hospital, and thankfully, the injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. As of now, the driver remains unidentified, and at large, the San Diego Police Traffic Division is handling the case…
